    First time restoration

I drive an old audi wagon that I bought when I got my license. I have some money set aside for living/partying/traveling maybe not house purchasing, but I'll be sure to double my budget and time. Just so I don't end up with a half complete car in my driveway.

    First time restoration

I have 3 years left of college. And yeah I want to enjoy it and I think restoring one would maximize the enjoyment. But that being said, I do want to be able to drive it around eventually.

    First time restoration

My goal is to restore a car. I understand that I could buy one that would work fine right away, but that's just not what I want. I want to be able to build it up and add improvements as I see fit. But I definitely will be staying away from lots of rust damage, really don't want to spend a lot of...

    First time restoration

Hahaha I'll be sure to be skeptical of a 23,000 reading on the odometer. And thanks I'll for sure look into an FJ40 club around me. I'll definitely try to contain my excitement when I'm buying one so that I at least try to get a better deal.

I'm coming home from my first year of college. I live in Michigan and want a good way to spend my summer. Anybody know of anyone near me that...

    First time restoration

I was considering buying one in great condition, but I kind of like the idea of restoring one as a summer project. I love my mother, but if she thinks I'm not doing anything for the summer she will probably end up making me break child labor laws hahaha. And yeah thecrazygreek I'm sure all sorts...

    First time restoration

Yeah after I posted this I went and read a bunch of the different threads again. Over the past three summers I've saved up around $30k. So I hope that works. And yeah it does seem like a more expensive hobby, but I hope that makes it worth it hahaha. And thanks for posting that other thread it...

    First time restoration

I'm 18 years-old. I've never restored a car before, but I've always had an appreciation for an FJ40. I decided about 3 years ago that I would save up my money to buy one and restore one. I get back home from college in May and want to buy one and start work then. I've read a couple threads on...
