Correction to last, blew white smoke on a pretty hot day like today, so that gets rid of the notion that there may be moisture in exhaust system.

If I’ve done my research correctly, pretty sure it’s a blown head gasket no? What are your thoughts. Coolant reservoir is always low after a few weeks of driving. Truck occasionally blows white smoke when started (typically when cold, located in SD, CA)

When it revs, it gets to 2000 rpm,drops to 1000 and tries to climb back to 2000 rpm on startup. Again this is only occasionally.

How’s it going everyone, finally back home from deployment and finally settled into my new home. Drove the cruiser back from Vegas after having it in storage for the longest time, and it’s still treating me well. Hope to see you all again soon! John

Apologies for the late reply. Took it to the cruiser shop that did the lift. They found the issue, pretty much the front drive shaft as you said, they worked on it free of charge! No more noise, cruiser sounds like a dream now!! Thank you and everyone else who helped identify the issue!
