Another EFI Fuse Blowing Thread (SOLVED!!)

UPDATE: So took advantage of the nice days here in Denver to open up the garage door and pull the pump/sender unit out of the tank. Thank you @ajax1 , @baldilocks , and @jonheld for getting me to the fuel circuit and checking out that in-tank pump wiring. Sure enough there was a large section...

Another EFI Fuse Blowing Thread (SOLVED!!)

Thank you for seconding pulling out the unit for visual inspection. I'll do that before I buy the pump. If it comes up a bust, I'll take that part number. Thanks! Any chance anyone can still explain why I am not seeing the 12v come across my multimeter when measuring across that connector to...

Another EFI Fuse Blowing Thread (SOLVED!!)

Thanks for the suggestion. At this point I had considered just opening it up and putting in an Autozone fuel pump just to easily determine if that is the problem. Would be a good time to visually inspect the wiring. I would love to take a multimeter to those terminals on the connector, but there...

Another EFI Fuse Blowing Thread (SOLVED!!)

Apologies for not providing an update on the thread. Been chipping away at tracing electrical lines 30mins at a time during the kid’s naps. Thank you @jonheld for keeping me on track with the fuel pump wiring. A quick disconnect of the fuel pump relay and crank attempt did in fact yield...

Another EFI Fuse Blowing Thread (SOLVED!!)

Thank you for the feedback Jon! I was unware of the functionality. I'll keep the pump wiring in my investigation. Getting it in the garage tonight and will start troubleshooting through. Hopefully I can provide an update tomorrow with what is or isn't the issue.

Another EFI Fuse Blowing Thread (SOLVED!!)

'97 80 Series LC with 300k. No recent work other than oil top off's 🛢️ I will try and keep this short. I know there are several other threads pertaining to causes and troubleshooting of the EFI fuse blowing under various conditions. But none matched my exact scenario, so I am hoping my specific...

    Power seat gears link?

FYI it was pointed out to me to just share the file through an online drive. Anyone can download the seat gear 3D file type here and send to your online 3D printer of choice.

    Power seat gears link?

its a fair point and one that i hope someone at some point experiments. At the very least, while i think we all agree with it being the mechanical fuse as you put it, if that the case, it is annoying that it is not more widely available without a community developing a work around and from what...

    Power seat gears link?

I have a 3D model as well of the gear, which you can use to get 3D printed off a variety of online printers. Somewhat of a cheaper option.

It can be done. Differential seal replace - w/o pulling axles

This is in relation to my previous post https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/did-something-stupid.1066529/#post-11767030 where I had a front diff leak and was worried about water intrusion. Anyway, I eventually determined no water in the differential, but did confirm the leak was the differential to...
