I just bought a pair of Baja Designs lp6's and I will not spending 90 bucks on a wire harness. Why spend 90 bucks when I already have the materials and knowledge to make a harness my self.
My one question is where I should tap in for my amber backlight on the lights. I would love to have them...
I'm in for an 80 series rear bumper with tire holder and ladder.
I've heard they usually run a black friday sale that's around 15% off. Do you think this group buy would save us more than that?
Ok thanks for the input.
I was looking at other forums and full rebuild is very expensive. It's hard to justify putting 5-10k (according to other rebuild forums) into a truck work $15k
I guess I have a hard decision to make.
I just recently changed the oil on my 80 and the oil was a little brown and a bubbly. I looked this up online and it seems like it could be from coolant leaking into the engine. It also produces white smoke that is only visible in the morning when its cold out which I've heard is another symptom...
Thanks a lot man. Definitely gonna start with the torquing the bearings.
What do you mean by full axle service? Obviously diff fluid. But what else? Like seals and stuff or a full knuckle rebuild?
There is only tonk tonk from 6 and 12. But yes 3 and 9 does have some slop even though it doesnt go tonk tonk and it loves to wander especially on the highway. I just though thats how it drives on a 3in lift and 35in m/ts. Is there a way to fix that?
Just rattling when hitting bumps. I heard it two weeks ago but thought it was my bike rack. Then I took of the rack for a ski trip and it was still happening so I tried to find the sound.
