Since AZ just got a ton of rain, we headed out to see the Verde River today. Went up thru Needle Rock to Camp Creek, then thru part of Trail 42 to the Verde River. It was the highest I have ever seen it.

I cheated and bought some pre-made transmission cooler lines. They were still a major pain to get bolted in place. I cut off the ends and went to rubber to feed the cooler. Not the best looking but much better than before. I also got a new transmission dip stick and tube. The tube and...

Switched gears today and removed the old crappy window tint from the passenger side door. Turned out pretty good and wasn't too bad to scrap off. I then took a razor to the rest of the windows and removed all the overspray. Applied some RainX and all the windows look way better.

Pinion seal has been replaced. Removed old transmission cooler lines. Got the new cooler mounted. Wasted one section of 5/16 tube trying to make a line. Gave up for the day. There's beer to drink......lol :beer:

Got most of my supplies. Hopefully it all goes together nicely and I stay motivated to get all this done....lol It cool and rainy this weekend, so it will very pleasant in the garage.

Now that it's not oven like outside.......I can cruise my no ac vehicles in comfort. I took the Mustang for a cruise last night and tonight. Tonight I drove it longer than ever before. The current setup and tach shows I am only going 45 mph at 3000 rpm. The 4.56s gears and 26 inch tall tire...

I got the stainless steel channels installed then tucked the weather strip into the groove. Turned out pretty good. Now I need to get the windows to cooperate. New regulators might be needed.

Since I got home early from wheeling. I wire wheeled then painted the upper door jam areas. There's a stainless steel c channel piece that screw in this area and holds the weather strip. Will add that after the paint dries.

The clouds and the green desert were a refreshing sight. Fun little day trip. Stopped and had a burger at the bar on the way home.

Spotted this guy checking out my truck. After that, Pat did some needed body work after the flex test with new tires.

Took the fake 45 up to the Big Reef Mill. It's about a 90 round trip from my house. My friend Pat took his newly acquired GX470 out to test it off road for the first time. Weather was perfect. Got rained on alittle on the way to the bar. The storm headed north and was looking formidable.
