I have a 71 with the closed headlight buckets - the connector is outside the headlight bucket with the connector to the headlight being the normal female 3 prong connector. If I don’t connect into the original harness, im not sure the current light switch would work as nothing is connecting...

Hey All! Was installing the headlights this morning and realized the female connector from the original headlight harness is not the same as the male connector from the new headlights Is the fix as easy as replacing the old female connector with something like this?
