Hey it’s simple, it works and it’s cheap. Checked all the boxes for me.

Whipped up some simple rocker panel protection. Took a piece of 2x4” .250 wall rectangle tubing and sliced it down the middle, cut out the contour of the door opening and bolted them on with several 5/16” nut-serts and SS button heads. Should be able to take a decent hit.
