Per your suggestion, I called RCV. They don't sell them anymore. They were creating more problems than they were solving. They did sell me an "upgraded" boot. Let's see if it is any tougher.

I run the RCV axles. Third time out, I punctured the boot. I think they just don't make a rubber that can handle wheeling in Vermont. We have sticks and branches everywhere.

Has anyone found anything to protect the rubber boots on the CV axles? We wheel hard in Vermont, and I have probably punctured 7 boots so far. It is so frustrating to have such a tough and competent rig with such a weak vulnerability in the rubber boot.

The engine on the LX is amazing. It is a rocketship. On the downside, however, the lack of tailgate is really bad for me. When you get to a ski day and have to sit on a dirty bumper instead of a clean tailgate for putting on boots, you miss the 200. The 200 feels far more spacious inside...

In my state, we only pay sales tax on the difference between the new car and the trade, so there is incentive to trade.

I traded for LX 700h overtrail

On 27 August 2025, I traded a white 2019 LC200, w about 35k miles, into Lexus of Manchester in New Hampshire. They listed it for 72k, and it was sold within a week. Does anyone know who bought it? I would like to offer to buy it back.

Who fixes a short in the winch? Small engine repair shop?

I brought it to a local shop and he just called to say there was a huge loa from the winch. He disconnected it. Is there an in line switch people use to reconnect the winch when it's needed?

Is it permitted to jump from the battery to another car in LX700h?

Ok. I have ordered a noco pack. I bought the big one for 250usd. I would still like to know if I am allowed to jump from the vehicle, however.
