Any suggestions for a rad? I need the input and output on the same side (left side)

The truck is a’73 fj40 but I pulled the entire drivetrain from an 82 bj60.

I picked up a radiator from a local seller who said it was from a ‘60 series diesel wagon. After a year in storage I finally looked at it. There isn’t a filler point on the rad. Is this a closed system and the rad is filled from the outflow bottle? What gives? Am I seriously missing something?

I've swapped the whole drivetrain from an 83 BJ60 into a 73FJ40. I have kept the FJ40 rad. The lower hose reaches across the rad towards the driver's side to fit into the 3B. I had the rad tanked and flushed and it is in good shape. The rad guys seemed to think everything seemed fine but the...

Makes sense for sure. No doubt there are relays available with the same footprint but diff volts. I have a feeling the transistors I'm using will work. I think there is an off-chance one of them is NPN, using your numbers as a guide, but they are easy to swap in.

Sure! It might be a few weeks... my truck is the school I teach at, which is closed down until next week. Covid sucks on SO many levels.

I used 12v relays although the 24 might work... not sure. I could take a look at the relay specs to see if they could handle the volts.

Just a quick clarification... the pnp transistors are older audio-types. my guess is they would cross with most generic pnp types such as the 3906...?

I'd be willing for the cost of materials and a little bit for time. Shouldn't take too much to solder together.
