The GX and GXL got that fancy brake system ... the base models just old school brakes front disc and rear drums without abs, like a vehicle from the 80's.

The 285's always seems kind of small for the 105 ... but it gets the best performance of the cruiser in dunes, dirt roads and highway.

That seems more like Grayish Olive 6H9, great color for classic looking cruisers.

Or you can make it just like the oem sistem in the 200 series, without pump and electronics … just sit the tank over the chasis (105/100 series oem size) and through a tube to the main tank and gravity will do it’s work, you won’t have a reading a of that tank but you could calculate according...

I dond’t think there is even a place were the 100 series with 1hdt even most beat up ones could be sold for les than $15k. People really know the value of these iconic vehicles.

Yes, the peruvian government bought over 300 fzj105 in the 2000 for many intitutions like police, highway patrols, mountain rescue and prosecutors all over the country. All of this were the same spec, the most basic ones … barn doors, vinyl floor and seats, no subtank, no a/c, manual windows...

Great engine, very reliable, smooth power delivery ... heavy drinker, the best I could get of my 105 was 25km/g (15mpg) on flat highway 300kms steady at 100km/h, believe with a higher 5th pinion could get a little bit extra but wouldn't reach 20mpg.
