Yeah mine doesn't have a draw issue but that's entirely subject to how it's wired... I finally got tired of the stock shift knob: I've tried a gx460 in piano black and hated how bulbous it looked and also a full black leather ls430 knob that seems to be the losest thing to perfect...
That would be fine, symmetry is the key here.. in my case I’m doing the speedo tach fuel and thermostat as well as the height control and behind the display for mileage and what not
oh and I’ll be replacing the ones in the clock unit above the radio/nav
It is official, after years of dead abandoned forums we have a solution repair and conclusion to this BS!!! Soldering in 3 4000k plcc-2 fixes it...
jdevtac was correct with his guess of plcc-2 being bulb size. Thank you for that help!
I found that 4000k was on par with the OEM white BUT...

Good idea, I don't care to pay for a whole cluster nor make a trip to a junkyard.. the bulbs I ordered were less than 15 bucks shipped.
I've already read that thread. The only info it really provided was how to remove the cluster... then the thread died w no beneficial bulb info.
My order is in. Got my SMD's from the website "mouser".... I will keep y'all posted and will likely put a video up on YouTube once I make my attempt at the DIY repair!
I would bet you're right on the plcc-2! I'm willing to be a guinea pig... what do you guys think? Should I pick up a few of each: 3000k, 3500k & 4000k and see what's closest? or should I be doing a wider range of k?
I'm aware that this is a common issue but even with all the forums on the 120 series I can't find anyone who actually have specs on what smd led will solder in to my burnt out gauge cluster behind the 0 - 20 mph area.. Help!!! I know I'm only one among many who need to fix their burned out gauge...
It's Sergey's firmware and I love it.. worth every penny spent! The only issue this unit gives is that the apple Carplay only works a few times on fast boots, then you have to do a hard reboot to restart that unit and it's good to go.. my approach to this issue is to set the unit to do a hard...
Thank you! It's a genuine leather kit I got on eBay, cost about 55 bucks and was worth every penny, very high quality and it smells amazing.. was it a pain, yes, it was a total pain lol but 5 hours of pain was well worth the finished product... thicker wheel, more modern and again smells like a...
I wrapped my interior with some raw carbon style vinyl and hand stitched a perforated leather cover on my steering wheel to match how modern the Tesla screen looks! Loving the screen and will not be going back to my stock nav unit. If you guys have any questions let me know!
