I pulled the clutch inspection plate. Flywheel is clean and oil-free. Tomorrow I am going to use a flexible camera scope and inspect the rear of the engine. It is time to replace my engine rebuild oil anyway.

Hi, I am fighting an oil leak out of clutch housing. I am assuming a rear main seal leak. My engine was rebuilt 12 years ago. I did not start it until a year ago. Bad, I know. I have seen products that claim to revitalize rear main seal. Thoughts? Other ways to resolve? My 2f engine...

Hi, I just finished a 15 year journey of a restore including an engine rebuild. I have about 40 miles on it. It seems to run very hot. Is that normal? The stock gauge shows nearly pegged. Any thoughts? Guidance? Thanks, Ron

Thanks for all the suggestions. I used mystery oil, waited several days. I got a mechanical gauge and tested that the oil pump worked by driving pump with drill. All good. Drained oil and checked for debris (Nothing) and refilled. Reassembled dizzy making sure pump was engaged. Used...

I drove the oil pump today with an electric drill and a drive shaft I fashioned from round stock. It spun and showed some resistance so it appears to be working. I will pull the valve cover and make sure oil is coming up. I have let the engine sit for 2 days with mystery oil in each cylinder...

I tried the car restoration places. They in turn gave me name of shop that said they could get the glass. But they are only interested if they can also install it. And they did not think they could come to my house. I will keep looking.
