According to "speed docl" mentioned above, his LC and 4runner have the same noise when the brake pedal was hit.

It's barely noticeable when you turn on radio or music, the technician mentioned some people won't even notice that sound. I placed my phone next to the brake pedal so it may sound a bit more severe.

The local dealer who installs it may take the responsibility, but what if you relocate to a new town, that will create some problems as I can imagine.

What if there is any electrical problem in the future and dealers could easily claim that the problem is due to the incorrect installation of remote starter (it's hard to prove wrong)?

Folks, correct me if I'm wrong, it seems like remote engine start is NOT a standard feature for the 2018 LC, is it correct??? Can I ask dealer to install it for me before delivery, does it void the warranty?
