The bear tooth pass is truly something else, even though it’s a paved road it still blew me away, even with the clouds and occasional rain.

Just ran Flathead this morning, glad to say no rubbing and they are quite a bit quieter than the General grabber x3s, a smidge louder than K02s, I don’t have a re-gear and it feels fine on the road but I can understand why I would want to for better control on the trail

Just got the new wheels and tires on today after work, i have yet to take them for a drive but planning on Flathead tomorrow. Also got my new antenna on replacing the loaner from pat at right channel. But oh boy do 35s just look right

Called Midwest motors what’s up with the tires this morning, they were in Billings this morning, overnighting to Helena then local delivery sometime tomorrow afternoon. Super excited to get them on and ready for the big trip. Also just returned my loaner antenna and got my new one in the mail...

@Mike NXP I dont know what other tires are 3 ply now-a-days but they cant be the only ones. @geo5, I think the tirecalculator website told me to run 40psi, but 35 is comfy especially if you swap between washboard and pavement often, looking forward to the kenda klevars Ill update once I get them...

They were E rated, I ran them at 35 although I think I should have run them at a higher pressure. I think the main issue was that they were sitting for a while. I didn't get them new, I got them from expedition overland guys, manufacture date from 7yrs ago. I also ran my K02s at 35 with no...
