I know this is late and won't fix your problem, but adding my comment to hopefully save someone in the future some time... I had this same exact code, turns out the navigation connector (light blue) was not connected.
Make sure the gas tank cap doesn't have any cracks and its tight. For me it stopped throwing that code after I cleared the codes and stopped overfilling... I used to fill even more after the pump clicked off, which caused that leak error for some reason. Not sure what's causing your error tho.
Thanks, I'll search the forum for pin repair. The leak is from the rooftop drains being clogged.
Do you happen to know the part number for that connector?
Ok I figured out what's going on.
I measured the voltage at Pin 1 of F1 connector for the radio unit and Pin 1 of F32 connector for the navigation ECU and noticed that the voltage was 0.2v. It's supposed to be between 11v-14v. I measured the voltage and resistance of other pins according to TIS...
I have not cleaned the amp fan, but changed the fuses and cleaned the connectors. Based on the diagnosis screen the AMP is connected and working properly. It's only the NAVI, AUDIO, and XM that are not connected. :/
Hey everyone,
While I driving the display unit started acting strange and started showing stripes (see picture below), and then the map and audio stopped working. I now get a "Audio Off" message when I try to turn on Audio, and a "the external system is not connected" message when I go to map...
Thanks for the response, @ducktapeguy!
I was worried about what you mentioned, so I got 2 thinner nuts (4mm) was able to have the terminal sit between them.
Hello everyone,
I was installing my new winch and snapped one of the terminals. I must overtightened it. I can still make a secure connection, but that will require me to remove the nut at the base of the terminal.
I was wondering if that will be okay, or if it will cause problems down the...
Hey everyone,
When I turn the wheel to the right at highway speeds I hear a humming noise from the front axle and feel a subtle vibration in the steering wheel. Toyota mechanic confirmed it but was not able to find the cause. He said he lifted the truck and checked the wheel bearings (I don't...
I figured it out. Even tho P0504 seems to be unrelated to the transfer case, it's the code that's causing 4Lo to blink!
I verified by clearing the code, and pressing the brake pedal which caused P0504 to be thrown, and the 4Lo start to blink.
Hope this helps anyone who comes across this in...
Hello everyone,
Here's another 4Lo blinking thread! I read some of the other ones but looks like in all cases they all have DTCs.
What I experiencing is this: 4Lo is off when I turn on the car. A couple of seconds to a couple of minutes after driving it starts blinking (no other lights, only...
