Fixed the shift arm. It must've been failing for a while. It's never felt this tight. Ordered a set of front seat covers from escape gear. ****ing $130 in shipping is painful

I don't have to get under my rig to change the filter, it's right on the side of the block, and on the Audi's in Volkswagens where I most used to it it's a filter cartridge on top of the engine

People don't like being under it The Audi and VW folk swear by extractors. But I hate using it. Just put the car in the lift and away I go.

Drove it to some lava tubes and noticed some play in the shifter. I crawled under it today and noticed the arm on the trans was sloppy. I noticed it had weld on it rather than a nut. Yup, the manual shift shaft is broken and the arms been welded on. And the welds broke. So now i need to...

The whole time I was reading this I was thinking "man this sounds like fuel starvation from air in the fuel" Mine would do this cold when the old fuel filter mount had a bad oring that leaked. Glad you got it sorted.
