Does this sound like a blend door issue?

I have not fixed it. We live in an area that's cold/cool much of the year so in practice "full blast heat" is what is happening anyway in many scenarios...which means it doesn't get prioritized. The servomotor housing is visible without removing the dash - it's a small black unit just above the...

    Strange behavior after CV replacement

Also forgot to mention: it tracks straight at low and high speed. No pulling to one side or the other.

    Strange behavior after CV replacement

I went back through and checked all bolts that I touched, everything is torqued right as best I can tell. I am not sure it's a new issue. The UCA/LCA on both sides were replaced last year along with sway bushings and links, so I doubt the ball joints are bad. The 12/6 wiggle is totally solid...

    Strange behavior after CV replacement

Hey there. I managed to tear a CV boot on the passenger side of my '06 LX470 and not notice until it started clicking (and I got a fun vibration at highway speed). Whoops. I decided to use the opportunity to replace the axles on both sides. It was probably time anyway, they're original at 285k...

2006 LX noise after TB change...maybe?

Thank you! I was hoping that's what it is...just sensitive to it and I haven't been under the hood in a while. Parts were all OE from toyotapartsdeal.com or PartSouq other than the Aisin fan bracket and clutch.

2006 LX noise after TB change...maybe?

Hey folks. I have a 2006 LX and I just completed the timing belt job at 267k miles. New belts, tensioners, idle pulleys, water pump, fan bracket, fan clutch, the works. It wasn't as hard as I thought it was gonna be! While I had it all out I went ahead and did new plugs and coils - I've been...

    Rotor Grind

I had similar symptoms recently - one pad totally gone, the other with lots of life. My pistons were fine. The pads on the rear sit on a torque plate attached to the caliper via two sliding pins. The pins need grease to function correctly; if the sealing boots are damaged (or the grease is...

    Identifying my UCAs

I'm about 90% sure it has a 1.5" lift with the OME 2864s. That's part of my "I can't identify any of this" problem - the paperwork says they're 2863s but it's absolutely not a 3" lift.

    Identifying my UCAs

Yeah I just noticed that. Figure 2 on this page shows that it's roughly at position B, like you said. Had a moment of panic, hah. Thanks for all the input!

    Identifying my UCAs

Also...the truck tracks straight and rides perfectly. How on earth is it aligned if the ball joint is backward...? Sheer dumb luck?

    Identifying my UCAs

NEAT. I've had two alignments on this since the suspension work was done, maybe tech flipped it at some point. I've not worked on suspension like this before - is orienting it correctly just removing it from the arm, flipping, reattaching, and getting it aligned? Or can it be flipped without...
