General question for the group…not a dig but curious. Why are so many people towing their 80’s and 60’s? I sort of understand towing a 40 as long distance might not be so comfortable.

I have one I can bring you...brand new with the clip...reproduction from Cruiser Corps. Look for me in the gray/white 1969 FJ55. I will be at camping cabin 14. DM me for my phone number if that helps. We arrive Sunday afternoon.

Big mistake! When I switched from a carb to Holley Sniper EFI with the LED screen with all sorts of numbers displayed including temps…well I can no longer NOT look! I think I miss all the real beauty when driving now. Ignorance might be better? LOL

What did you do to your pig today?

Yep. The arms should not be level because of the gears. The driver side arm should be just a bit higher than the passenger. The window is still solidly in the channel thanks to J Mack’s duct tape trick.

What did you do to your pig today?

Been getting ready for Solid Axle Summit next week in Ouray, CO. Been there a bunch of times in my 100 but first time for the pig. Completed the following over the last 3-4+ weeks for my SAS trip: - new Odyssey ODX ADM24 battery - checked and changed fluids - fixed the cock-eyed rear tailgate...

    FJ55 Battery & Tray

I’m sure you all were wondering what I decided to do…not! LOL. Anyway, I decided to go the easy route and just get a group 24 size battery. I went with the Odyssey ODX AGM24. I got Napa to give me 20% off so it was “only” $322 rather than over 400. It has 840 CCA and the X stands for extreme so...
