Ok, I hope I am not beating a dead horse.
I have OME nitrochargers, they are great, but after three years the bushings are almost completely gone.
I am looking for an adjustable rebuildable shock because I want maximum comfort on the road and almost as stiff as they will go on sand for the...
The other bolts LOOK fine, but this one also looked fine but was mess underneath.
I removed the lower bushing and I was left with this rusty sleeve. I cleaned the sleeve. Just to test if I have the flexibility to take it out. I put a bottle jack under and jacked it up. The jack was able to lift...
I found the bolt, but I am wondering if I need to undo the other mounts do I risk a chance of snapping the bolts for them too or is this the only this one that is prone to rusting like that? I am surprised at how corroded the bolt is for being in a mostly a desert driven car in a dry country.
Hello everyone!
So I was under my vehicle checking things over when I noticed the body mount bushing was loose. So I tighten the nut but it just spins in place. I pulled the nut and it came out with part of bolt all rusted.
I have tools and I want to DIY it, How do I replace this body mount...
With proper tire pressure and CRAWL it is pretty much impossible to get stuck on sand unless you are high centered. I have driven the softest sand and tried to intentionally get it stuck and it will just "crawl" right out. Doesn't matter what vehicle you have, if you have four wheels spinning...
I found the reason why. It's tire pressure! I inflate my tires 35 PSI cold. When driving on the highway (especially UAE summer) the tire pressure goes up to 40+ PSI. This makes the corrugation feel harsher. When I park the car the tires have a chance to cool down so on the drive out the road...
I just checked the price for the power tank, it's $500. Much more expensive than the pump I posted (around $140). Also refilling it seems like a chore. I go off-roading twice a week and sometimes need to air up multiple vehicles.
I will keep it short.
I have a single piston ARB compressor to air up my tires. It's a fast compressor but I want it faster.
I have thought about the ARB twin compressor but it's expensive and I can't justify paying for it just to save time.
I have thought about buying this compressor...
