I’ve heard a lot of high praise about them. I will definitely look into them as an alternative to the ACT502s. Just looked and the EBC DP6992 (Green Stuff) pads are also interchangeable between 91-97, so still same size. But, I appreciate the recommendation!

UPDATE: I did the upgrade! Hi everyone, I finally put 16s on my 91 and have maybe 1mm left on my front brake pads, so seems like the perfect time to upgrade to the 93-97 bigger brakes. Before ordering all the stuff though, I just want to confirm I’m not doing something wrong… I intend to order...

Sorry for late response. The custom correction gearbox was $170 after tax, from Deluxe Speedometer in Denver. Just give them a phone call and you will discuss form factor and all of the other things then. I highly recommend taking some measurements of how far the speedo is off by using a GPS...

I went from 31's to 33's on my 91 FJ80 and now the speedometer is off 1-6mph depending how fast I'm going, meaning I'm also not tracking gas mileage, etc correctly. I saw that a member here with I think a 70 series had Deluxe Speedometer in Denver build them a custom speedo correction gearbox...

That must be it. This was the fluid level while running after a 45+ minute highway/city drive. I added a good bit of fluid and did a quick drive around the block, checked again but it didn’t go up much. Wondering if the trans cools down a little while I’m checking it and makes the level go down...
