They have the same issue as well. Found this thread through a Google search so I figured it was on the GX page, didn't know it was exclusive for the 460. Either way, beware of the 470 tranny as well

I did a lot of towing, there was a time on the boat ramp where the GX was angled up with the front end high for a while and after I got back in from landing my boat on the trailer I put it in gear and I heard a ton of grinding and had no movement. I turned the GX off and back on and it pulled...

Is it compatible with an 04?

Both my GX and my 100 series tow my bay boat very well but my GX gets better gas mileage while doing so. Maybe its because the 100 has a lift and offroad tires but the GX is just over all lighter.

Oil was replaced 12,000 miles ago, the issue somewhat started a little while later. Just scanned today since no check engine lights were on and got a P2714. Hope theres a fix that doesnt include a new tranny. lol

2004 w 210,000 miles, drives great shifts great but takes a minute to get into drive during the first start of the day, after that its good the rest of the day. I already took it to a shop to check Transmission fluid level and added some Lucas treatment in there. Anyone have any thoughts?
