ok, I feel like this is a super dumb question, but how can I tell if the pin stripes are paint or a decal? I've really never looked at the pin stripes that closely...

Thanks! You might not need a trim piece if you are going to put sliders on it. Some of the sliders might cover up most if not all of the missing gap. Unfortunately, I basically had to completely ruin my old running boards to cut out that trim piece, so if you can hold off until you get your...
