Anyone sell a vinyl kit that covers the wood interior dash and door trim on our 2011-2015 LC200's? I Don't want a replacement kit just the vinyl decal kit. Hoping to find a brushed silver that matches the door handles and dash. I have seen similar kits for 2008-2010's but can not recall who sell them.

The smaller dash panels pop out very easily, so you probably wouldn’t wouldn't even. Just a decent size sheet...cut the rough shape with a bit of extra and trim righ on the piece. The panel will then reattach, hiding the imperfect bit of extra you wrap around the edges.

Actually...your post and my comment have suddenly reminded me how easy this will be...so I’m going to stop by a local vinyl shop and check out colors...then pick up a sheet!

I just did this on my LX. Took some time but I much prefer it to the scratched up wood veneer.

That looks excellent as in professionally done. Care to share any details? I assume you did it a section at a time? What product did you use? Thanks!

Thanks!

Lots of patience and a heat gun 😂

The pieces all pop out with a little coaxing, then it’s just disassemble, wrap, reassemble.

I struggled a few times because while it’s stretchy under heat, it also changes the pattern of the vinyl ( the brushed steel especially) and I’m too much of a perfectionist to have that! Go slow and don’t force it.

I ended up being most effective by laying down the vinyl in the middle of the piece and then working my way to the edges. It’s sticky, obviously, so I ended up removing the backing as I went, not all at once. Really helped make it manageable as I manhandled it every which way with fingers and a squeegee, doesn’t stick to itself etc.

I'm going to give it a shot and just focus on a piece or two at a time. Thanks for sharing!

Start with the simplest piece you can find to get your feet wet. Radii and complex corners are the true tests of one’s patience 😂😢

Good luck, let me know if you have any questions. I watched a lot of YouTube videos midway through and realized I wasn’t using enough heat. So...don’t do what I did and assume you can figure it out!

If anyone else has photos of their interior trim after they covered them with a different color vinyl please share them:oops:

Just hoping to refresh this thread. I’m also looking for some color ideas to wrap the interior trim pieces of my 07 GX. I have the ivory/tan interior so I’d particularly love to see what color you matched up with tan. Thanks in advance!
