    Complete Elka Fail

Do they use a swivel joint where it meets the resi and the shock body? Maybe if it's a rigid mount, it came loose and could be tightened up, potentially saving from a rebuild. If it's how the hose was crimped at the fitting, then that's really not good at all.

Dobinsons IMS Monotube Shocks for 80 Series - Internal resi Monotube Shocks

Bumpity bump bump Surely some of you have been running IMS for quite some time now. How about posting up some photos of them on your rigs? I'd especially like to see some of the earlier users of them, to show how they've lasted over time. I get that question all the time.

Dobinsons 100 Series Suspension options - full breakdown

If you run longer rear shocks than I have listed in the first post, then yes, you'll need to extend brake lines and bump stops. You'll be trading up travel for down travel, so unless you're rock crawling the cruiser, it won't be very beneficial to add that extra down travel, and to limit the up...

Dobinsons 100 Series Suspension options - full breakdown

C59-175V give 2.5" of lift with 220lbs added on and behind the rear axle. Sounds like you're probably 300lbs with the bumper and tire on the back. So you'd probably be 2-2.25" You add up how much constant added weight you've got, then choose a spring that suits that weight range and the lift...

Pull one off and check if there's an OEM part number stamped on the inside of them, then you can google it to see if someone sells them.

    3rd gen Tundra lift OME

Yes. Base model axles don't have good articulation in the CV joints themselves but the TRD Pro axles do.

    3rd gen Tundra lift OME

A 3" front lift will definitely give you axle problems if you don't run the upgraded ones or if they don't provide a proper diff drop kit for it. They might not be aware of that problem. I had a shop call me the other day to say their customer has gone thru 4 sets of axles because he lifted it...
