Yeah, forgot to describe the sound. I edited my original post. If it was the diff, wouldn't it have made the same noise before the lift as well?

Checking back in with this group, and @Tanner H, for some advice. I've had my lift on for about 6 months and 5K miles and still love the ride, but I've got a horrible howling noise coming from the rear between 50-75 mph since I installed it. It starts at a low hum around 50 mph, rises in volume...

Turns out the water level was low in the battery, so was probably not at full charge driving around and the 15-20 minutes with the interior lights on drained it enough to show the lights, but not enough to turn the car over. I topped off the water, charged it to full, problem solved.

Yeah, I would say the only CON were the instructions. Between them and the videos I was able to make it through OK, so it wasn't that big a deal. It looks like you are getting a lot of interest in this kit, so making a video for these and future kits is a no-brainer. Will help you sell more of...

I'm considering this kit as well. Have you gotten the fronts on yet and were you able to avoid the reverse rake mentioned in the previous post? Still like the setup? I'm hoping for a slightly firmer ride than I have now. Anything a likely improvement over my 15 year old stock setup w 135K miles...

Thanks @ZiaMan @bigredmachine and @CarolinaGX for the answers and tips. I ordered the Hewitt kit. For CO emissions they don't do visual inspections. Will replace the alternator and starter as preventative as well. Much appreciated guys.

Thanks @ZiaMan. I'm going to look into all of that. A bit worried about bypassing the pump with emissions testing here in CO, but its nice to have that option. And a hell of lot easier fix than replacing.

Thanks @bigredmachine. Any idea why some of the previous codes aren't returning? Why are they different each time? And, any other suggested preventative maintenance while I've got the manifold off and out of the way? 02 sensors?
