Need advice - keep AHC or AHC delete?

07 LX @ 170k miles. My AHC original shocks are weeping/rusted, but globe accumulators and AHC heigh control works fine. I know most have gone with AHC delete to normal shocks when the AHC breaks, but I really like the suspension. Need some advice whether I should do a direct stock AHC shock...

not sure on LC, but on LX The TEYES harness plug with only 4 green wires is plugged into one of the factory nav plugs, these are the three plugs at the top most when looking from the back

@JJ_SC hmm, with your theory perhaps you can switch to a known good radio channel to test if the hiss turns to music. I think in the TEYES if you hit any of the tape deck radio button, the radio app that seems to control factory radio will come up to let you switch channels Is your antennae...

    Build: "Moxie" 2007 LX470 Limited

did you install a switch for the LED lights or how do they turn on? I have been wanting to get rid of the factory stepping board but kept it because I like the factory puddle lights that are integrated into the running board, but this could be a solution

Also one other thing I forgot to mention is that "ground loop isolators" or noise filters aren't really a true fix of the source issue. They put a band-aid on the problem. As long as there are grounding issues, your headunit and speakers are not working optimally and not producing the best sounds.

Been following this thread and I'm so sorry many of you have the hum/engine noise. This is also known in the stereo world as alternator whine through speakers. Surprisingly its quite common with non-stock / upgrade sound systems, particularly in Toyotas. If the noise goes up and down (almost...

@cryptyk Not a designer but I was thinking of something nostalgic of the good old navi. What do you think about this design? https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1WkAbRk6DuiLcZ-aYtorpUuus7N9D3FEo/edit?usp=share_link&ouid=106434145340038739196&rtpof=true&sd=true

For 07 LX -- From what I remember, the plug with the 4 green wires connect to the top factory navigation screen w/climate control. When I did not have it plugged in the climate control did not work on the CC3, it worked after plugged in.

this is huge. Even the factory option to turn off the weirdly frequent climate popup is a bonus by itself. I thought something was wrong with the wiring or controls everytime the climate poped up. thanks!

speaking strictly for my 07LX - one thing I forgot to mention was that I noticed that when I plugged in the factory antennae wire to the back of the CC3 - it also added some slight distortions while playing music from the HDD. I've since given up on having the radio by the antenna and so the...
