10-11mpg is pretty standard for city driving. Welcome to the club. Best day of the year in town can possibly get 12 mpg. I tracked it for years with my LX. Not including when I tow my mixed average is 11.5 mpg. At least it isn’t the 8-9 mpg we all that tow get.

I do way more technical trails all the time with my 2013 and have for the last 12 years. Bone stock other then 17” wheels, AT tires, and LC (longer) roof rails with Yakima round crossbars.
