First time off road.

Hey we need some pigs there that actually do stuff and drive around.

As far as I know it’s oem.

No heater hoses, and I do have vortec heads, so that must be in. I’ll get that hooked up this week. All of the steering components are new, so I will take it to a shop. But just standing still there it a lot of play in the wheel.

Two problems have emerged as I get more adventurous driving it around the block. 1. The steering is terrible. It wanders and has a ton of play. I assume I will need a new steering box, which I am assuming will not be readily available and will lead to another 2-3k conversion or something...

Yeah, once I got into it, I could not stop. I was going to send it to our South Carolina home, but we ended up buying a lx 460 out there that is more practical for touring around.

I would like a rack as well. Are the cross members customizable on location? I need a large opening on the front half for my ragtop. Need to be able to stand up in my rig through the roof and wave at people as I go down the road.

This turn signal situation will be the end of me. We can get the emergency flashers working, but no turn signals. I did buy a new turn signal switch, which was a direct swap, but nothing is happening. Its almost like the turn signal switch is putting out nothing.
