I just bought a 2010 LX that came with a street set up 305 40 R22s on 10" wheels with 35 offset. I'm thinking of dropping to 18's and was looking at Defenders in 275 65 R18. The 305s barely clear now at full lock so the extra 1/2" seems to guarantee a rub without some melt work or other mods...

I'm considering Defender LTX MS2, but leaning to XL over E rated as I'm not towing currently but planning to in a year or 2 to get a travel trailer in the 23' 5-6000lb range. Any comments on XL vs E? (2010 LX 570 stock)
