Job done... (2001) 100 series model amazon 4.2 FTE engine & G'box installed in the (1993) LJ78 series... my 2.4 lte smokey days are well in truly behind me... all went in fine gearbox too ...plus all the metal panel work is original no chopping and taking from the lj78 look.

The finished project... all original body work in trim.

Yes, I'm planning to keep the the front as is, so I might have to come out alittle in the grille, i'll be running on kenlow slimjim electric fan kit, with abit of luck this will free up some space.

This switch is to trip the ecu in limp mode, I will keep this, and hard wiring into the ignition key barrel. will make for a good security gadget.

Hey could you give me some guidelines for removing the immobilizer... did you take it off the back of the injector pump? id like to remove it fully from the system as it will not be used in the donor vehicle. any help on this would be great.

I have got a crashed 2001 amazon 4.2 fte auto, so I am hoping (sorry) I mean I'm GOING to fit this beast into the 78 series by January 2017 just looking for some info on the install etc ... as I'm going bring autobox/tranny along too ;)
