I changed plugs, did a BG's EPR engine flush with the MOA additive and noise has pretty much stopped. Not sure exactly what it was but think the MOA helped a lot.

It is a 2003. The shop that I went to already over filled the New master cylinder and figured i'd try to finish it instead of taking it back to them. Thank you for the reply as I will try that today.

I cannot believe that I didn't notice that. It looked like a short piece of wire that was bent to use as a pin to hold the pedal. Maybe its time for me to get some glasses.

I just had the master cylinder replaced by a local shop and now the LX pulls a little to the right when braking. I'm assuming that there's air in the lines and was curious if It's best to bleed the lines at the master cylinder as well as wheels. TIA

I just noticed that the booster reservoir seems to be loose and rocks back and forth. Maybe the grommets are leaking from too much play? Wasn't sure if its supposed to have play in it..

It's definitely not a tick. A small knock for a second or two then clears up. I've driven it for a while at different intervals and no noise at all. Only morning startups when it's cold. The oil pressure is usually at a quarter at idle and goes up a little when tach goes up. I just ordered over...

I recently purchased a 2003 lx 470 which has an engine knock at cold start. It lasts about 1-2 seconds then goes away. I’m guessing it could be bearings from bad maintenance or maybe old spark plugs.. or maybe even a bad injector. It has 143k and don’t know if it has the original plugs. I just...

It is new to me. I didn't get to cold start it before purchase. I changed the oil filter this evening and will see what it does in the morning.

I changed oil last week and used a wix filter. Gonna get a Toyota filter and see what happens. Thanks!
