Trying to get lucky - bank 2 cams removal
Anyone know the minimum I have to take off to get the timing belt off of the passenger side cams? I need to move some of the shims under the cams around on the passenger side but everything is put back together at the moment and not to do pointless work 07 VVT- bmath340

They sure did! The black was square though. Cylinder head shop said they weren’t too bad and squared them. Yes, huge repair!- bmath340

That’s is based on the plastic timing cover but it is still dead on with the divet on the block No, I didn’t do compression or lead down test cause it was running like a top even after overheating! Just had a small leak of compression into cooling system- bmath340

Hey yall! Long story short: overheated my 07 100 series, radiator blew, head gasket blew, replaced all of it (by the book(FSM)), immediately had rough idle on start up, only in drive and reverse at idle letting off brake, everything was solid enough to load up 3k pound trailer and drive 21...- bmath340

Hey guys! Thank you all so much! I fixed it! Turns out I was successful at putting heads back on cams timing belt and all… But I’m an idiot when it comes to lubing O-rings on fuel injectors before shoving them in😂😂 Two of my injectors were pissing fuel out of the O-ring… Put all eight new...- bmath340

Just had my heads redone, replace timing belt and all but now it runs really bad. and all but now it runs really bad. I’ve checked and double checked it’s not a simple jump the tooth… Would love to be able to call right now since I’m trying to get it away from where it’s parked tonight!- bmath340

It would be microscopic though! I’d still be in the same tooth id think! It’s such a tiny dimple. But I was to the left of it a tiny bit and so we’re my cam markers if you see the pics.. Thanks!- bmath340
