EDIT: It was the ECU-B fuse... which I hadn't checked since the windows, moonroof, etc were working. Cleared up all issues below.

So... not to distract. But how exactly well does the door strut lock? Does it fall into place and "lock" if you pull the door all the way out? When the door is fully extended, I've tried to push the strut back but it doesn't budge... it does feel like it's in a "slot" though and I'm not sure if...
