I’m heading out today catch the family in Vegas for the rest of the drive.

Just got it back from exhaust shop, now wiring and plumbing. The last 10% takes 90% of the time.

I’m Ben from Monterey, I’ve lived here for the last decade or so but grew up in the sierras. I’ve got a FJ62 with a Ls as my daily driver and a 1982 BJ42 that is drivable on most days. I look forward to hanging out with you guys when ever we can.

Is there a California convoy happening? I’ll be checking out the Land Cruiser Heritage museum in SLC Saturday then driving the rest of the way Sunday

Would anyone be interested in an arm strong steering box out of a 1982 BJ42. Im pulling it out to put in power steering and was wondering if anyone would be interested in a newer box. I’m open to offers plus shippin.. Ben

Did you ever end up selling those door? I’m interested in the front doors, my bj has flip up tailgate so I don’t need the barn doors.

Its coming off the left taillight Plug. If I follow it up to the rear hatch there is a red wire that connects to the hatch lock. I haven’t pulled the wires out of the hatch yet so I’ll do that when I get home.

I think these are the wires I’m looking at I the picture but don’t see where they turn red/green. When I get home I’ll pull those out of the hatch
