71 FJ40 US specs. Correct sender for the year and engine(F). Bought from Crusier Corps, and confirmed correct part number. Getting power to the sender and resistance is changing. When I turn the engine off, the needle on gauge goes towards warm.

Should note that i installed a new thermostat and temp sensor. Engine temp after driving is showing in normal range with thermal gun.

Engine temperature gauge on original cluster goes to cold while the engine is on. All other gauges are working correctly, and power is hooked up according to the wiring diagram. Any suggestions?

Trying to find both LH and RH front bumper supports that are sandwiched between the bumper and gussets. See below. If I can’t source, does anyone know the measurements so I can have them built?

Looking for the spare tire carrier hook for a 1971 40 series. It is the plate style carrier and not the tube style.

Trying to source an Oil Pump for a 1971 40 series. SOR has them, but was hoping to see if there was a source out there that didn’t want to charge a mortgage payment t.

Disconnected the fuel line at carp and cranked the engine for 10 seconds… I got 6oz of fuel in a water bottle, so it seems the pump is working. Changed the fuel filter, and let the engine come up to temperature. Tried driving, and same thing, made it about a mile. Engine is getting pretty...

I’m priming the carb by removing the fuel line coming from the fuel pump, pouring a small amount of fuel in the primary side of the carb and cranking the engine. It takes about 10 seconds for a 16oz water battle to fill with fuel at that point.

I replaced it prior to replacing the fuel pump; I can get another one tomorrow and try that out. Would that cause there to not be any fuel visible in the filter? I replaced the fuel filter with a clear one.
