We tried shifting from drive to nuetral and so fourth. We were able to get through 4 hi to nuetral but not to 4 low.

It was in nuetral. Its not my truck yet and I did not want to break the lever.

Yes it was in nuetral. It was very very hard to even move the 4 low lever to neutral. Barely any travel.
