Just a heads up. I hiked this trail about a month ago, I'm a local, Montrose, and it's the only trail I've hiked in the last ten years where I started getting blisters, and that was in the first mile. It's that steep. Just be prepared. However, the results of your labor will be worth it.

Took it out to explore some old mines and such in my "backyard."

I'm sure there will be much disapproval, but I used a simple kit from walker products that I believe came from Amazon and purchased the secondary diaphragm from City Racer. As I mentioned, it runs fantastic!

I had great luck rebuilding my carb. I've owned this machine for over 30 years and I don't remember it ever running this good. I have rebuilt countless carburetors over the years so I'm very comfortable doing so. If you are up for it, I say rebuild.

Are you dumping raw fuel out somewhere? Seriously, I don't know how it's feasible to get that poor gas milage.

THAT, is the $10000 question. Just do a search for KDSS clunk, grab your favorite beverage and read on. Lots of talk about it but no real definitive answers. I can't come up with anything and it is just annoying but doesn't seem to effect drivability. At this point I'm going to drive it until...

I had paper floating around the tank periodically plugging the suction tube. Took a looooooooong time to figure that out.

Wow! That is some serious in depth research and work into something I didn't know existed. I say this because I have only heard of the driver side lean which is common on "all" 5th gen 4runners not just KDSS equipped. My 2016 with KDSS leans to the left, drivers side, by about 1/4" to 3/8" and...

The tape over the holes looks suspiciously like what I found inside my tank creating all kinds of headaches.

I'm not sure what you mean by "inner" rockers but Wolf Steel has rocker panels that I used and were nice and a good price.

I also used Precision parts and they seem to be holding up very good. I did buy them from Rock Auto for a better price.
