Just an update, got the FZJ80 alternator I listed a few posts back and installed it this morning. It was pretty straight forward but I did need to modify the adjusting bracket. But its all back together and charging again, so thanks everyone for the advice!

Anyone know if theres any compatible parts available in the US for upper & lower radiator hoses for a 1991 HDJ81? Part numbers 16572-17010 & 16571-17010.

Its been converted to R134 but I didnt do the conversion so not sure on where the parts were sourced.

I'm located in southern new Hampshire and looking for a shop to repair some rust below the rear windows of my 1991 HDJ81. Hoping someone has some recommendations for a reputable shop who could take on this work. Picture from a recent trip cause why not

What boost controller did you go with? I put a Hallman boost controller in my HDJ81 and the adjustment seems to be very precise. I can dial it in .5 psi increments pretty easily.

Definitely! Unfortunately not this one though, the plastic around the glass cracked and opened up allowing water to come right in. I used some rtv on it to see if that will do the trick. I’d still like to try and source a new piece though.
