I had this spot to myself last night. The Aussie solar shades are large to pack, but the privacy they provide is amazing. I used to have a homemade set made out of reflective insulation you can get at the big box stores. These are so much nicer.

I see these jerry can water pumps on social media for $80-100. I bought this one a few years ago on Amazon for $15. Friction fit is perfect. Makes filling water bottles at camp so much easier than pulling the jerry can in/out all the time.

The truck is mostly packed and ready to head out west later this week. I took care of a number of smaller odds and ends this weekend. I don't love hanging more stuff off the back, but I needed a spot for my propane tank so that's now riding on the galley box. I replaced my campfire in a can...

Finished the platform legs and threw the mattress back in. You can see how the aft section raises/lowers with the roof when attached to the pull strap.

I laid down sound dampener and flush mounted the cabinet in the rear. Fridge is back in and secured. The smaller aft section of the bed platform lifts and secures to a canvas pull strap with a button fastener. More pics once I finish mocking up and installing these legs to elevate the larger...

I finally made it out to my brother's cabinet shop today to work on v2 of my interior setup. Working with top of the line tools in a decked out shop with someone who does this for a living was a game changer. My v1 made out of Home Depot birch plywood laid out on top of a sheet of...

I made a little progress last weekend. After putting together the first part of the rear cabinet I decided that I need to build this in two pieces. I had a heck of a time sliding this in after building it on a bench, and the one-piece design will make building the rest of the setup too...

I used the aluminum framing to support 1/2" ply to keep the weight down. I think it will work well. I ordered and received a two-piece custom mattress this week (more on that later). I have hinges that will keep the two 70/30 pieces anchored, but my roof cutout is not large enough to...

On the last picture - the plan is to build a cabinet around the fridge with a bench extension that drops in up to the second row with room for a couple of storage boxes underneath. I have power from the aux battery ran to the rear cubby and plan to mount a blue sea fuse box there unless there...
