I will remove it for now, just in case. But it does work all the locks properly. Which is odd.
One thing I noticed, on the BJ1 connector. The blue/white wire that was originally taped, it goes in as blue/white to the BJ1 from what I would call the DS of the white block. It comes out on the...
How can I LOVE ^ post? Like just isn't enough! So what I did was I tested continuity from the blue/red on the liftgate to the blue/red wire that had the connector on the end of it up front. Had continuity. So I cut off the little connector and wired the blue/red to the blue/white that was...
The blue/white wire that is wrapped back on itself appears to go to position B21/12. There is a blue/white in position 11 that is connected. The one in 12 is the one that is in question.
Awesome, thank you! The blue/white wire that is wrapped is baffling. The blue/red that has a connector on it is too. Lastly, the 2 wire connector with a violet and pink wire get me.
I have an EWD, trying to make some sense out of it.
It's a 1997 land cruiser.
Up above are the pictures of anything that has a tap on it. Nothing connected to any of them. The wires that don't connect to anything, I don't understand.
Are those red things fuse holders? Sorry, I'd guess that's a dumb blond question. I didn't know that though. I thought that's where a wire was spliced into an existing wire.
There is nothing under the seat. No sign of anything being there previously. No box like I've seen in other posts.
I checked between the door and the body, looks fine. Haven't opened up that plastic covering, not sure if that's a good idea.
I'll get the probe :)
Running out of ideas.
This is the pink and wire, goes to a connector, nothing plugged in.
This is an old splice, on the blue/orange wire.
This is the blue/yellow wire splice. Nothing connected any longer.
This is a splice on the red/yellow wire, nothing connected though.
