HELP! all i did was change valve cover gasket

HELP! all i did was change valve cover gasket

Maybe someone can explain this one to me. (Not a mechanic so sorry if my terminology is off) So the cruiser would crank but not start. I took VAF out took plastic cover off again and wires were looked fine. I put it back together and tried starting it again and it fired up and seemed to idle...

HELP! all i did was change valve cover gasket

It will turn over as long as I hold the key but it does not attempt to to start. It acts the exact same way it did when I forgot to tighten the 4 bolts that attach MAS to intake.

HELP! all i did was change valve cover gasket

I am an idiot. I went back through all the hookups and forgot to tighten 4 nuts when it hooks up to filter cover. It then started and ran at 2000 rpm for about 5 minutes then dropped to 1400. Could I have throttle cables too tight? Oil pressure gauge tough to fix?

HELP! all i did was change valve cover gasket

Ok a little update. Last night I got it started and it idled around 1700 and puttered, I figure because of the VAF. So I pulled it and re-soldered the connections(first solder attempt ) reassembled and now the starter try’s but engine doesn’t turn all the way over

HELP! all i did was change valve cover gasket

Good question I’m not sure about the hood sensor, it’s possible.Ya The 2 screws in the photo and I definitely pulled too hard getting the plug out so I’m going to try to re- solder the wires before buying a Chinese one since it’s discontinued. Would that alone cause the motor from turning...

HELP! all i did was change valve cover gasket

I believe it’s factory alarm, yes just the 3 hookups on throttle body. I did not disconnect the battery. One thing I forgot to mention, when taking intake apart like an idiot I unscrewed VAF connection before I saw the connection. And to be more specific when I turn key the dash lights come...
