Hey guys,

I'm selling my 1997 Lexus LX450 with 226K'ish miles on it after removing some of the parts I had previously built it up to. For someone wanting to build a great trail rig, this is the perfect beginning of a truck with a lot of high dollar mods already installed and ready to go. I used to daily drive this truck, then it broke down. I took it to a shop and they had it for 3 weeks trying to find the electrical gremlin, and in the end I found out just recently that all it was was a fusible link...ridiculous. But, that was after they installed a brand new fuel pump for $500. :) So, the truck sat for nearly the past year, but it runs just like it did when I parked it a year ago, minus the need for all new brakes. So, I just purchased factory reman calipers (one is brand new) up front and factory reman calipers in the rear, plus rotors and pads in the rear, as well. The bill from CDan was roughly $775. I'll sell the truck as it sits without the brakes installed for $5,500 or $6,000 installed. We just had our first baby, so I'm limited on time right now, but we could use the money instead of a money pit of a toy that this truck has been. :)

The rust you're seeing is surface rust in the fenderwells. I should have used a tougher than paint option when I rattle can'd them, but I didn't. But, that's all it needs to fix those up permanently. You can read other posts from me here on the boards to see what the truck used to be built to, the trails it's been on, etc.

If you have any questions, I prefer you email me at chrisrademacher at fastmail dot fm or pm me, but pm's are annoying to read on my phone in comparison to email. The truck is located in Deep Gap, NC, which is basically Boone, NC...28618 zip code. If you choose to pick it up without the brakes installed, you'll need a trailer to safely get it home. With the brakes installed, I'd drive it wherever you'd want to go to get home.

Thanks,

Chris

Because I don't want to continue to sit on the truck, I'll let it go no lower than $5K without the brakes installed.

Chris

$5k and the brakes are installed and working great. I was going to go wheeling today but apparently there's no where to go around Boone anymore.

Chris

I'm glad somebody will be enjoying it. We couldn't figure out an easy way to get together before then, so the end of the month worked out perfectly for the both of us. Thanks again for getting us together on it.
