I want to put a CEL in the center dash panel on my '74 Pig.

I was envisioning using the "blank" hole that looks to be plugged to the left of the switch for rear window (sorry, I do not have a picture with me)

Has anyone utilized that hole for a CEL? If so, what was the best fit/look product you found to use there?

TIA!

get the early FWD indicator light from the lower dash pod on an early piggie, or the early blinker(green)/parking brake light(red) with chrome bezel from a fj40. either will require opening up the hole a bit, but either would look good...

Cool idea, do you have any pics of these?

Or can you tell me what years they were in?

Here is where I would like to place the CEL:

hey pablo i have the original smog light in mine, just sits there filling a hole, doesnt do anything with the diesel installed. it sits under the headlight knob, if you want it its yours bro.

Is this sort of what you're thinking of?

The yellow arrow is a push button for the glow plugs to start the diesel and the red arrow is the water separator light (also for the diesel).

ya know something funny pablo? in that pic you posted above i have the same pig emblem in the same spot on my pig.

you cant see the egr light in the pic, its behind the steering wheel by the door.
