Fj25LB Non-Folding Bows & Barn Doors
Fj25LC Non-Folding Bows & Tailgate
Fj25LD Hardtop

do any trucks not fall in this? for the Fj25's? that are left hand drives? :)

the only one i saw that was different was a price sheet typed in 1960 it listed the Fj25LH for Hardtop

I wonder if Steve B's hardtop 25 cruiser is also labeled as an fj25ld? i cant find a tag pic for his? anybody know?

I think his lost it tag.

Johnny, you made me dig and dig and I couldn't find the thread where we discussed this, this was close: https://forum.ih8mud.com/fj25-owners-group/212513-my-1963-fj40-really-1962-a.html

I have two vin pictures from hardtops, interestingly they are both stamped FJ25LD.

All the drop tailgate soft tops I've had are either FJ25L or FJ25LC more without the "C"

I think Phil had something different on one of his....can't remember what.

yeah i think the hardtops were the D's

the C's non-folding bows and tailgate

did you happen to knotice if the tubs that you had were different bow mounts on them...you had 2 different ones right? one was a C right

i dont think it was a dedicated thread...it was asked...by you i think on a few occations

the FJ25 Resource CD can be purchsed from here for those that want some really cool reading material:

You mean you're not doing this from memory..............that's cheating.

Fox's 25 has the different bows, tag was missing so no clue there. I think Proffit and Marv have 25's with the different bows (and bench seat). Not sure if we've seen one with the barn doors and soft top.

AFAIK, folding rear bow and tailgate had a bench rear seat. I have 4 holes in my rear floor that used to have captured nuts under them where the bench seat bolted in. The front bow is shorter than the fixed bow setup. The top door bars are the same height though and are identical to the fixed bows. I'll take a pic of them installed tomorrow. I would assume that the canvas top is different due to the attaching point differences/ different front hoops. But as Jim said, no original data plate to confirm the model :(

Is it just me or are all the vins with an L at the very end hardtops? not the model number (Fj25LD this L is for left hand drive) but the actual vins like 0-FJ25-21483L

It's just you. ;) Far fewer have the L but this was my first soft top:
fj25vina.webp

so that one was probably a A bow setup with bench and tailgate just like fox's

Nope again, this was 0FJ2520620L with the original bows under the tin:
60FJ25015.webp

Jim has this one been counted?
1960 Fj-25 - Pirate4x4.Com Bulletin Board

it is one number off from the #97 and is labled an fj25LC did pictures show up on this one?

i dont have it on the registry

Umm, I don't remember that whole conversation.......... Yeah, maybe it was over on PBB or even the old SOR board that we were having the model number conversation. :D I have several pictures either labeled PBB or Texas they are all in the count thread, not sure if this is one of them. Link is dead obviously.
