Rear View Camera - WITHOUT distance lines

I am looking for a decent rear view camera that does not have distance lines.

It seems like all the cheaper cameras (amazon, ebay) contain the useless distance lines.

Anyone have some suggestions? I'd like to rip off 98 SNAKE EATER's idea and wire up a DVR with 4 cameras, so in the end I am looking for both front and rear view cameras.

Check my post in the 100 forum thread sr gringo started about critique of his planned system. I have a Pyle cam I got from amazon for $30 that can be configured.

I actually have a couple of cams... i use the one on the right in your photo on my rear bumper as a back up cam. It's adequate but it has the distance lines which i dont like. I have this camera now for front view Amazon.com: Pyle PLCM37FRV Universal Mount Optional Front View & Rear View Backup Color CMD Camera with Built-In Distance Scale Line: Car Electronics and will get another for rear to replace what i have.

It's in the wire hookup. Do it one way for lines another without. It's legit.

I installed it on the front of my truck and everything seems good, no distance lines.

Is there anyway for these cameras to be fed into a laptop? Typically, they have RCA jacks and most laptops don't. Sorry for the hijack!

You would need a video input on the laptop.... you could try some wifi cams.

or you might be able to use a usb video capture (input) device.
