Finally got the troopie in my hands. I had a full roll cage put in it and took it for my first spin yesterday. I will document most of the things I find with it.

Here it is sitting next to my 55 ( a little strategic parking hides the unpainted portion of the 55 - a.k.a. the circus pig )

I had thought of spring over, 35's, etc...but I am really leaning towards some 33s and just a good ol driver. I had the front floors replaced when the cage was done. I'll get some pictures of the cage once I pull the top.

Here is the list of items that will be going on it for sure:
bikini top
warn 8274 ( I think I'll keep the big ol bull bar for now )
cb, radio, and a headlight wiring harness upgrade
lockright in the rear

It still needs some body work and I'd love to get it line-x'd (or something similar) on the interior.

thanks for looking...

a short list of the things that need immediate attention:

- figure out the fuel tank selector valve and hook up the extra hoses
- replace the water fuel separator that appears to have some small little pinholes in the bottom. Maybe a racor unit with the sensor in it.
- change the fluids
- replace the belt
- put on power steering (any idea on a right hand drive gear box?)

Nice old troopy, i've always like them especially in that stock colour. Pics of the cage would be good later. Your ole' iron pig looks like a solid weapon! :D

G'day BK,

Congratulations on your new troopy- can't wait to see the progress. I love to see Cruisers going to the Up Above where they will be loved! Any chance you might want to put yours on the troopy registry? The tag is in my signature.

Cheers,

Josh
