I’m now living in Australia and looking for the quintessential Aussie vehicle: A LandCruiser. I want one with the 1HD and a proper 5-speed, 3-pedal gearbox. I know ones that are still in good condition at this point aren’t super common, but I have time to be on the hunt. The long-term dream would be to do a lap, but tackling local tracks would also be great. I’m hoping to find one with rear AC to keep the kids cool in the heat, but with everything else I want in a vehicle, that’s probably being extra picky!
I know the 105 never got the 1HD, but plenty of people have done swaps. If anyone wants one of those trucks to go to a good home (maybe you don’t like your grandkids and don’t want to pass it on to them), let me know.
