After splitting the factory knuckle weld open on my 45 at Cruise Moab in ‘08, I started thinking that it might be a good idea to have a portable welder. Sometime after that, maybe 2014, I picked this up. I tried it out once, in a friend’s yard (you know that old saying about setting a tent up at home BEFORE you take it camping) and it worked just fine. It’s just sat around since. The case got some scuffing from the 2 or 3 times I put it in the back of the 45, but the welder has literally not been out of the case since that one time.
