I've decided to sell my 1984 FJ60 to focus on my 96 FZJ80 project. It's in solid survivor condition and a real gem for being in the Midwest.
I brought it with me from Texas 3 years ago and it was previously owned in New Mexico and Arizona. I've owned it for about 5 years and my dad owned it for about 5 years before that. Always garage kept and never driven in winter.
Under my ownership I have done the following:
Dobinson's suspension (2022)
Koito headlight upgrade (2022)
5 BFGoodrich KO2 33x10.50r15 tires (2022)
Full knuckle rebuild and front and rear brakes including calipers and drums (2026)
Cruiser Trash HBIM to restore high beam indicator function with Koitos (2026)
The following was done under my dad's ownership:
Jim C carb rebuild (2019ish)
Stainless Trays battery tray
Valve cover gasket
Desmog (TLC Performance kit, I believe)
Exhaust manifold gasket (Remflex)
This cruiser is pretty rust free with the only areas of concern being a small patch on the passenger roof rail where the seam sealer has disintegrated, a small area on the passenger rear door bottom seam and a spot on the passenger a pillar inside the door jamb. These areas have never been repainted or body worked and should be easy enough repairs. The rear hatch is not original and I'm assuming someone must have had the hat h up and backed into something because you can see tan paint under the white. All other panels have original paint.
This cruiser was NOT equipped with A/C from the factory but I only drive it on nice days anyway. Runs and drives well and there are no leaks other than a small damp patch at the front of the oil pan that has not dripped on the ground in the 6 months I've been watching it.
For the right price I'll include a set of really nice OEM bumpers, FourRunner battery cable kit and an extra set of late OEM hubcaps.
Please message me for more photos or info. Thanks!
