Although I know nothing about your rig, let me know if you need assistance. I have figured how how to spin a wrench the right direction, most of the time.
I could take off after class on Thursday and be able to stay over to Friday. Gives me something to think about.
I'll be out there, most likely working the Hellwig booth but I've pit for other people previous KOHs and may be able to escape work to help out some. Just let me know what you might need!

Your build thread was featured in the P4X4 December newsletter. I clicked the link and checked out more of the pictures and comments. It's starting to persuade me to go and help pit for you.

I should be at the event, but will be busy with photo work...be sure I have your team radio info tho, can help with coordination if needed (which I'm sure it won't be, but better prepared than not...lol)

This race has been on my bucket list from the first year I heard about it. The car we are buildiig is something special. Ive been running and lifting weights all year and have had 3 years of desert racing in BITD with my brother Bob and his r1 powered teryx. Ive puked in my helmet twice already. (My bro wouldnt even slow down) My dad has become proficient with race prep and logistics. Without his mastery of autocad and the torchmate we would not have this machine. And my hot wife gets a big nod and ass pat for being so understanding.
Cant thank Rick and Dave of Fab Unlimited enough. Yea im the customer and its my car but you wouldnt know it with how commited they are to their work; they take ownership of every project big or small. Its not just my car. Everything they touch is made as good as it could be with what they are given to work with. Their race experience is invaluable and they are both going to be with me on the lakebed at the hammers.
And then there is this Mudd community. ...so many friends. So many memories. So much adventure. If I dont make the race at this point It wont hurt me. Its all about the journey and this has been a great one. Hope you all come to our campfire at hammertown and get a good look at this sexy car...before we smash the piss from her.

Okay,...Tomsryd(Tommy B.) told me you may need some more Volunteers in your pits. I am planning on being there again this year and would love to help you as well.
I pitted for Rockware(Matt Peterson) last year at Remote Pit 2a and have experience with fast repairs and what to expect when the cars come in. Although we bent a front control arm, that took out our Oil filter in the first pass, and blew a Hydraulic Hose on Chocolate Thunder we still finished in 40th place.
I got to say,...I'm excited.
KOH ROCKS !,.......no pun intended.
I think this year I will be taking a breathing respirator for Friday Night.
Now to check out your Build Thread.........and the feature at Pirates..................................

Yes we will make it for sure.
Car is performing well. Yesterday Rick and Dave took the car to barstow for a tuning session with king shocks. Car is very fast and smooth as glass. Im going to get some good practice time over the next few weeks and we will be ready. Tons of spares comin in: 4 complete red label crawlwrs with race liners and beadlocks, new alternator, tt pump, currie third, dshafts, hydrolics, etc. Got a nice trailer now too.we are ready
And the racepak stuff is just badass
Anybody know a good ls3 tuner in valley here? The idle is still a little rough and it dies once in a while. Gotta get that fixed

I have been asked to assist RockWare, they are running to Cars in the EMC and one in the KOH on Friday. I have no problems assisting both of you guys but my need pit at the same location. I can work out details with them and you a little later. I am planning on bringing my son Derek and using my dads motor home. I have been offered a space in Hammer Town in RockWare's basecamp,.....but last year the dust about killed me Friday night.
Can't wait to get out there...........

if you cant commit 100% thats ok. just give me an idea.
this is mainly just to have fun guys. i will be wheeling trails daily. would love to wheel with ya. ill have lots of meat on my BBQ. hope you all are hungry

I will be there,....just need to know where to find you when I get there on Wednesday. . . . .If you don't mind, I can ask the RockWare guys if we can pit next to them on Race Day. They really are a great group of guys and really,everyone helps each other out there.I know they will camping in the same spot at PSC Place & Rugged Road.
